Rochelle Community Hospital held their 6th Annual Hustle 5K Walk and Run on Saturday as a total of 213 people participated in the event. The walk and run took place on the bike path which started at Atwood Park and traveled to RTHS.
The overall winner was Dan Palmer of Roscoe with a time of (18:47) on the 3.1 mile course. The top women runner was 30-year old Trese McNinch of Amboy with a time of (21:11).
10 teams took part in the RCH "Hustle". The top prize went to Maplehurst Farms. The Spirit Award goes to Chozen Frozen from Ryder.
All funds from the 6th Annual event will go towards the new state-of-the-art Toshiba 160 slice CT Scanner. The machine is only the 2nd of its kind being used in the United States.
The exact total raised from the Rochelle Community Hospital Hustle event will be announced later this week.
