Today's Wisconsin recall election is dominating the political spotlight. Republican Governor Scott Walker is trying to survive a recall challenge from Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. Democrat Barrett is the underdog against the well-funded Walker. The recall was prompted by Walker's hard-line stance on collective bargaining rights for state employees. A heavy turnout is expected in the high profile race. Republicans hope a Walker win will help the GOP retake the Badger State in November's presidential election. President Obama won Wisconsin handily in 2008. Obama did not campaign for Barrett, but former President Bill Clinton appeared with him last week.
