City Officials in DeKalb have named Eugene Lowery as their New Police Chief.
He replaces Bill Feithen who retired last February. Ron Pearson was named interim Police Chief for Dekalb.
Lowery plans to begin his new job on May 29th. He is currently the Deputy Chief for the Crystal Lake police department. Lowery also worked for the McHenry County Sheriff's Department for 21 years and with the Ottawa Police Department.
This will be the 1st time Lowery has been Chief of Police for a department.
