Residents in Rochelle will see additional police around the Middle School today following a bomb threat that was received earlier this month.
The message was found on a bathroom stall in the school on April 10th. It indicated that the bomb was for today, April 26th.
No explosive devices were found in the Middle School when the threat was made.
During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Rochelle police detective Terry Inman talked about the additional officers at the school today.
He said since the threat this month, officers have been stopping by all the schools in Rochelle and talking with students and staff
The building will be checked again today for any explosive devices. Inman said that they have to take all threats as if it may happen.
No arrest has been made at this time involving the message left in the restroom.
