Illinois' death toll from synthetic marijuana is four. The Illinois Department of Public Health yesterday said a fourth person, a woman in her 20s from central Illinois, passed away after using the fake pot.
The IDPH says more than 150 people across the state have been treated for severe bleeding after using the synthetic marijuana. Most of the cases are clustered in or around Peoria or in the Chicago area. There is at least 1 case in Winnebago County.
