Gredco Director Jason Anderson of Rochelle is part of a group that includes Governor Bruce Rauner that is visiting Poland and Germany over the next 2 weeks as he looks to bring in new businesses to the Hub City.
This is the second trade mission trip for Anderson with Governor Rauner. They traveled to Japan last year.
There are a total of 21 individuals from Illinois who made the trip to Germany and Poland.
Rauner mentioned before the trip that their goal is to make relationships with companies which would bring good paying jobs to Illinois in the future.
Illinois has the world's largest polish community outside of Warsaw. Many of the people live in Chicago and the suburbs.
Anderson met with Polish officials during their visit.
The group is expected to have over 20 meetings during their visit in Germany and Poland with businesses. It comes to an end next Tuesday.
