Permanent housing at 1 site remains top goal for Focus House program in Ogle County

1 of the future goals for the Focus House program in Ogle County is to have permanent housing for the teens at the facility in rural Rochelle.

Thanks to the Focus House Foundation, land had been purchased so that the teens could be located in 1 complex. Housing right now includes a building in Rochelle.

During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Focus House Director Martine Lyle talked about the on-site facility.

Focus House attempts to turn the lives around for children in the area and other counties in Illinois who have been in trouble with police.

Lyle talked about the benefits for having everyone at the facility in rural Rochelle. This would include better staff organization and fewer schedule problems.

No date has been set on when construction would begin on the project.

Focus House will also have their 17th annual Spaghetti Supper next Wednesday from 4 until 7. All of the proceeds go directly back into the programs for the teens.

"Let The People Know" is heard on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 on Good Time Oldies 1060 and re-broadcast Sunday morning at 7 on WRHL and 6:30 on The Coyote.
