Rochelle Township High School failed to qualify yesterday for the State Finals in competitive dance.
At the Sycamore Sectional, RTHS finished in 13th place with 76.77 points in the Class 1A Division.
Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst came in first place in the Class 1A competition. Rockford Boylan High School qualified for the state finals with a third place finish.
In Class 2A, Sycamore and Freeport qualified for the state finals while Harlem moved on in the Class 3A competition.
The Competitive Dance State Finals will be held this Friday and Saturday at the Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.
