A Rochelle businessman passed away unexpectedly on Monday. Dan Sawicki was 62 years old.
Sawicki, who graduated from Rochelle Township High School in 1973, owned Sawicki Motor Company in Rochelle for the past 34 years. He also opened up a dealership in Freeport in 2003.
Vitiation for Dan Sawicki will be from 10 until 11:30 Friday morning at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle. The funeral mass will be held at 11:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dan's memory to Pheasants Forever or the Rochelle Area Community Foundation.
