Four people are recovering after a small plane crash in Rockford. It happened last night, about 6 p.m., at the Chicago Rockford International Airport.
Rockford firefighters say the plane came down about 200 yards short of the runway. Federal investigators say they're looking into high winds as a possible cause of the crash.
