The Rochelle elementary school district is looking at a major window replacement project that will begin in the summer of 2018.
The work does not include Lincoln School, but the other 4 buildings.
Superintendent Todd Prusator said that the project is expected to cost around 2 million dollars. Windows will be replaced next summer at Central and May Schools. The work will be done in 2019 at the Middle School and the Tilton building.
Prusator was a guest this week on the program "Let The People Know". He said that the board does not expect any major layoffs in staff for the next school year. They would like to keep the class sizes between 20-25 in the elementary buildings and 25-30 at the Middle School.
"Let The People Know" is heard on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 on Good Time Oldies 1060 and rebroadcast Sunday morning at 7 on WRHL and 6:30 on The Coyote>
Next week's guest will be Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle
