West Brooklyn man arrested after he allegedly threatened to kill his wife

Lee County Sheriff's Police have arrested a West Brooklyn man after he allegedly threatened to kill his wife this past weekend.

56-year old Glenn Castle has been charged with the Class 4 felony offense of aggravated assault.

The altercation took place on Friday as sheriff's police received a call from Castle's wife who was left stranded on the roadside of Illinois 251.

After further investigation, police learned that Castle had allegedly pointed a gun at his wife and threatened to kill her.

No one suffered any serious injuries from the incident.
