Ogle County Sheriff's Police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to abduct a 9-year old boy in Davis Junction.
The alleged incident took place at the Rolling Meadows trailer park.
While on patrol yesterday, the deputy was contacted by the boy. He said a white man in a black full-size truck tried to abduct him.
The man was in his late teens or early 20's with reddish brown hair, green eyes, and a white work shirt. The shirt may have a patch with the name "Andrew" on it.
The child said that the truck had rust and a decal in the back window.
No arrest has been made at this time. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Ogle County Sheriff's Department at 732-2136.
