A Missouri man has been arrested following an armed robbery that took place last month at a business in Polo.
27-year old Zachary Stivers of Grandin, Missouri was taken into custody on an Ogle County warrant for the Class "X" felony offense of armed robbery. He was arrested by Carter County Sheriff's Police in Missouri.
The hold up took place last year on July 26th at around 11:35 at night at the Casey's General Store in Polo.
Ogle County Sheriff's Police say that a masked man entered the store and displayed a knife. An undislcosed amount of money was taken from the business. No one suffered any injuries.
The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services assisted in the investigation. Stivers, formerly of Polo, has also been indicted by an Ogle County grand jury on the felony offense.
He remains in a Missouri jail pending extradition to Illinois.
