Fire investigators in Rockford think they may have an arsonist on their hands. Rockford Fire officials yesterday said they are looking at the possibility that someone is setting empty buildings on fire. Fire Division Chief Matthew Knott said a fire in downtown Rockford yesterday was the fourth fire in the last two weeks. Knott said two fires may be an accident, but four is looking like a trend. Police say they're talking with someone who may be a witness or a person of interest.
