There were no injuries after a car was swept into Pine Creek in White Pines State Park Wednesday night. Firefighters from Polo and Dixon rescued two people and a dog from the vehicle, after it was swept into the creek after heavy rains caused flooding. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Ogle County Sheriffs Office assisted.
