Police in Rockford say they're still trying to sort out the details in the shooting death of a 12-year-old. Officers say they found the pre-teen near the corner of 16th Avenue and South Fourth Street about 7:30 last night. He died at a local hospital. Rockford Police say they're asking neighbors and anyone with information to come forward.
Authorities are also investigating a second shooting last night which left a 30-year old man died. It took place in the 3300 block of Sablewood Drive a short time after 9 last night.
No arrest has been made in either shooting by Rockford Police.
