An Ogle County judge set bond at $100,000 for an Aurora man after Rochelle police responded to 3 confrontations Saturday evening. No one suffered any serious injuries.
31-year old Clifton Clemmons was arrested on the charge of aggravated battery, resisting a police officer, and battery.
Police first learned of Clemmons a short time after 5 Saturday evening following an argument at a local hotel. He had left the scene before officers arrived at the hotel.
A 911 call came in about a half hour later as Clemmons allegedly would not leave a residence in the 400 block of Willis Avenue. He was also gone from the location prior to police arriving at the apartment building.
About 2 hours later, police responded to a fight involving 3 subjects at the same address on Willis Avenue.
Clemmons remains in jail this morning in lieu of the $100,000 bond. He will be back before an Ogle County judge later today in Oregon.
