More Americans are feeling positive about their taxes this year. A new Gallup poll shows 61 percent of adults think the amount of federal income tax they have to pay is fair. That's the highest reading since 2009.
Gallup notes that Americans' perceptions of how fair taxes are tends to be lower with a Democrat in the White House. The figure averaged 54 percent while President Obama was in office. Under Republican Donald Trump the percentage is back above 60 percent.
