A Rochelle man was arrested yesterday evening in the Hub City following a stabbing incident that took place at an apartment.
30-year old Scott Cook was arrested on 2 counts of aggravated battery and also on an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of larceny.
The altercation took place a short time before 7:30 in the 800 block of Lincoln Highway. A 24-year old man was stabbed in the right side of the head and left shoulder with a kitchen knife during the incident. He was taken by ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.
A second person in the apartment apparently received a cut on his neck from the kitchen knife, but refused medical treatment.
