Rock Valley leaders say they have no choice but to raise tuition because aid from the state of Illinois has been cut to almost nothing.
The college's per credit hour tuition rate goes from $100 to $115. Fees will remain at $10 per credit hour.
Rock Valley College recently laid off 28 faculty employees due to financial problems.
