Rochelle police are investigating their 2nd vehicle theft reported to them this week in the Hub City.
A short time before midnight, police received information about a 2007 Toyota pick-up truck being stolen in the 500 block of North 12th Street.
The owner said that the vehicle was unlocked and he believes the keys were left inside the truck.
The vehicle has not been located at this time.
Rochelle police received word on Monday morning of a 2009 black Chevy being stolen in the 300 block of Woolf Court. The owner told police that he had lost the spare key to the vehicle recently.
The car was found later on Monday in Rochelle. Police checked for evidence inside the vehicle in an attempt to make an arrest. At this time, no one is in custody.
The vehicle was returned to the owner.
