An agreement has apparently been reached by DeKalb school officials and Superintendent Doug Moeller in which he will continue to be paid his annual salary until April 30th. He will then resign his position with 2 years remaining on a 5-year contract with the district.
Under the agreement, Moeller and school officials will not make any statements against each other.
The DeKalb school board expects to approve the agreement during their meeting on Tuesday.
Moeller has been on paid administrative leave since September 21st. He will continue to receive health insurance from the school district under the agreement.
The agreement also does not mention the sexual harassment and stalking allegations against Moeller from DeKalb High School Principal Michele Albano. That was 1 of the reasons for his
administrative leave.
Bradley Hawk has been interim superintendent for the DeKalb School District since October 4th.
