The city of Rockford is condemning four businesses in the wake of this week's federal raid in a food stamp fraud case. The four stores, three on Broadway and one on South Main Street, were closed because of code violations, but federal agents say they were also where owners illegally tried to convert food stamp credits into cash.
Rockford police also arrested two people on gun charges in addition to the three people arrested Wednesday by federal agents.
