The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect until noon today.
There will be light freezing rain and sleet this morning. Ice accumulation is expected to be around one tenth of an inch.
Area residents will see rain and areas of fog this afternoon.
Many area rural roads along with parking lots and sidewalks remain ice covered this morning due to the freezing rain.
