Bond remains at $200,000 for a Rockford man following burglaries that took place at a couple of homes in rural Stillman Valley this week.
36-year old Travis Rhodes has been arrested on 2 counts of the felony offense of burglary.
Ogle County sheriff's police say that a vehicle, an ATV, and numerous tools were stolen from 2 garages.
The burglaries took place on Wednesday morning. Rhodes was takn into custody later that night. Winnebago County sheriff's police assisted in the arrest.
The items stolen were recovered at a home in Rockford.
Rhodes returns to court on January 18th for a preliminary hearing. At that time, he will plead guilty or innocent to the charges.
Rhodes remains in jail in lieu of bond.
Sheriff's police say that the investigation in the burglaries continues and additional arrests are pending.
