2 people suffered injuries yesterday morning following a 2-vehicle crash in Rochelle.
The accident took place at around 8AM on Dement Road near Route 38.
A car driven by 26-year old Anna Sexton of Rochelle was traveling northbound on Dement Road and planned to turn into a parking lot. A collision occurred with a southbound vehicle driven by 61-year old Mary Anderson of Esmond.
Anderson along with a passenger in her car, 75-year old Rodney Anderson, were taken by ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Sexton was not hurt in the crash. She was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident along with having an expired registration and no insurance.
