A Rochelle woman was arrested yesterday afternoon on drug charges following a traffic stop in the 400 block of 4th Avenue.
48-year old Shelli DeLatorre was arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police seized a small amound of cocaine and a pipe during the arrest.
DeLatorre was originally stopped for improper lane usage which she received a ticket for along with failure to signal when required, not having her driver's license in her possession, and having no insurance.
DeLatorre was transported to the Ogle County jail in Oregon with no bond set. She will appear before a judge later today in Oregon.
A passenger in the car was also arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. 41-year old Michael Cossia of Rochelle was charged with the felony offense as police found a small amount of cocaine in his possession. He also remain in jail today.
