ComEd and its parent company Exelon are both reaching into consumers' pockets after a pair of government actions yesterday.
The Illinois Commerce Commission has approved ComEd's request for a five-percent increase in their delivery charge, boosting the average bill about two-dollars per month.
Meanwhile, Governor Bruce Rauner signed a bill allowing Exelon to charge ratepayers for the two-hundred-35-million-dollar annual cost of keeping their unprofitable nuclear plants operating.
