The Ogle County board will gather in special session this evening for an organizational meeting.
The activities begin at 5:30 in the courthouse in Oregon.
Circuit Judge Robert Hanson plans to swear in the new board members from the November General Election. They include:
District 1: Rick Fritz and Zach Oltmanns
District 2: Wayne Reising and Tom Smith
District 3: Greg Sparrow and Garrett Williams
District 4: Skip Kenney and Kim Whalen
District 5: Marty Typer and Don Griffin
District 6: Dorothy Bowers and Kim Gouker
District 7: Ron Colson and John Frinfrock
District 8: Pat Saunders and Marcia Heuer
The election of a county board chairman and vice-chairman along with committee assignments is also on the agenda.
Tonight's meeting in Oregon is open to the public.
