Powerball officials say one ticket sold in Tennessee won the entire 421-million dollar jackpot. The odds of one ticket getting all six Powerball numbers are 292-million-to-one.
The person who paid two dollars for that ticket can now claim nearly 421-million dollars in annuity payments, or get it all now in a lump sum of about 255-million dollars.
No one has yet stepped forward to claim the jackpot, which is the 11th-largest on record.
The jackpot in the Powerball game on Wednesday totals 40 million dollars.
