The 11th Annual Two Ton Thanksgiving Food Drive will be held tomorrow from 7 until 5 here in Rochelle.
Newstalk 1060, The Coyote, along with Anderson Plumbing and Heating and other area businesses will host the event. Area residents can drop off food and cash donations at Anderson Plumbing and Heating on 1st Avenue tomorrow. The food and money will be donated to the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry.
For every $20 donated, a family of 4 will have everything they need for a Thanksgiving meal.
More than 3 tons of food was donated for area families last year for them to enjoy the holiday season. Nearly $6,000 was also donated.
The food will be distributed on Saturday morning between 9 and 11 at Anderson Plumbing and Heating. Individuals will be at the business until all of the food boxes are gone.
