A Rockford man is charged with murdering a two-year-old Rockford boy whose remains were found in a Chicago lagoon in 2015.
Police said yesterday that Kamel Harris was caring for Kyrian Knox last summer when he "snapped" and killed the lactose-intolerant boy after he was fed milk and cried all afternoon.
Several of the toddler's body parts were discovered last September in the Garfield Park Lagoon. Harris was arrested after investigators learned that the blood recovered from his vehicle belonged to the boy.
