Bond has been set at $500,000 for 2 Hillcrest men following a home invasion incident that took place last Monday evening in the 900 block of Lakeview Drive in Rochelle.
No one suffered any serious injuries.
21-year old Besim Ajazi and 21-year old Keegan Akers have been arrested on the felony offense of home invasion and robbery. Other charges include criminal trespass and damage to property.
Rochelle police are still looking for a 3rd suspect in the case.
No weapons were used during the robbery. The victims did know the 3 men who were involved in the home invasion as they forced their way into the residence.
Ajvazi returns to court on October 18th for a bond hearing. Akers appears before a judge on October 19th for a preliminary hearing. At that time, he will plead guilty or innocent to the charges.
Ajvazi and Akers remain in jail in lieu of bond. Both have hired their own attorney to represent them in court.
