An Ogle County judge set bond on Monday for 2 Rochelle brothers in connection with a car burglary early yesterday morning in the 900 block of Carlisle Drive in the Hub City.
21-year old Joshua Holton has been charged with the felony offense of burglary to a vehicle. His brother, 20-year old Matthew Holton, was arrested on the charge of conspiracy to committ a burglary to a car.
The arrest came about after a local resident informed police that 2 individuals were checking car doors to see if they were locked.
A wallet from the victim was found in their possession.
Joshua Holton was also wanted on 2 Ogle County warrants for the original offense of assault and domestic battery.
A DeKalb County warrant was issued against 20-year old Matthew Holton on the charge of driving while under the influence of drugs.
Bond was set at $50,000 for Joshua Holton and $20,000 for his brother Matthew. Both remain in jail in lieu of bond and will appear before a judge this afternoon in Ogle County court.
