2 Rochelle men were arrested by local police this morning after authorities received a call that 2 individuals were checking the doors on vehicles parked in the 900 block of Carlisle Drive.
After further investigation, 21-year old Joshua Holton along with his brother, 20-year old Matthew, have been arrested on the charge of burglary to a vehicle and conspiracy to commit a burglary to a car.
After receiving the call, police found the Holtons running on Kelly Drive. They were taken into custody a short time later on 2nd Street near the hospital.
A wallet from the victim was found in their possession.
Joshua Holton was also wanted on 2 Ogle County warrants for the original offense of assault and domestic battery.
A DeKalb County warrant was issued against 20-year old Matthew Holton on the charge of driving while under the influence of drugs.
Both men remain in custody for the present time.
It's unknown at this time if the Holtons were involved in other car burglaries during the past month in Rochelle along with Creston and Hillcrest. In all of the cases, the vehicles were left unlocked.
