Police in Champaign are still searching for suspects in a Sunday night shooting near the University of Illinois campus that left a 22-year-old Mundelein man dead. Authorities say George Korchev was an innocent bystander when the shooting began in multiple incidents, all possibly related to a fight at an off-campus party. Four other people were also wounded.
Officials at the Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville say Korchev was scheduled to begin work there on Monday as a registered nurse.
