A North Dakota man is accused of shooting at an employee of the Hononegah Forest Preserve in Winnebago County. Jeffrey Krause has been charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and possession of a weapon without a FOID card.
Police say a forest preserve worker stopped at a campsite on Saturday to collect fees. He ran off after a person pulled out a gun and opened fire.
