Illinois is on pace to see one thousand deaths on the state's roads this year. New numbers show almost 630-people have already died in accidents. That's 50 more than at this point last year, and on pace to top one thousand by the end of December. Ken Kolosh with the National Safety Council says it's unclear why more people are dying in accidents. He does note Illinois raised the speed limit to 70-miles-per-hour back in 2014.
