A tentative agreement has been reached on a new 3-year contract between schools officials in DeKalb and the teacher's union.
Negotiating teams had been in negotiations for several months. Terms of the new contract have not been made public at this time.
The DeKalb Classroom Teachers' Association plan to vote on the new agreement on Wednesday.
If the union ratifies the contract, the school board will meet in special session on Thursday to vote on the agreement.
