A Stillman Valley man was arrested for Armed Robbery on Thursday. The Ogle County Sheriff's Office reports that just before 8am on Wednesday, an employee at the Marathon Gas Station in Stillman Valley reported an Armed Robbery. A male subject entered the business wearing a mask and threatened the employee with a knife. The suspect left the business with an undetermined amount of cash. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies executed search warrants at 4:30 Thursday afternoon on a vehicle and residence located in Stillman Valley. As a result of their investigation, Detectives arrested 19 year old Evan Christo of Stillman Valley, for Armed Robbery, a Class X Felony. Christo was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held without bond pending a court appearance today.
