More John Deere & Company workers are losing their jobs at the company's East Moline plant. The company says one-hundred-20 production line workers are being laid off as part of ongoing job cuts that reflect a decline in the sales of agricultural equipment.
The company employs around 1,000 people at its John Deere Harvester Works Factory in the Quad Cities. The layoffs begin this fall.
These indefinite layoffs add to the two-thousand workers the company's already let go in the wake of disappointing sales.
