Bond remains at 1 million dollars for a Byron teen after being arrested in an alleged sexual assault incident that took place last month at the Nash Recreation Center in Oregon.
18-year old Robert Swanson has been charged with the Class "X" felony offense of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.
The male victim was under the age of 13 years old. Ogle County officials say that Swanson knew the victim.
The Byron teen appeared in Ogle County court yesterday for a status hearing. He returns before a judge on June 30th in Oregon for a conference to discuss possible plea agreements in the case.
Swanson remains in jail in lieu of bond.
