City officials in Oregon took no action this week in updating the comprehensive plan for future growth in the community.
The document is around 80 pages. The city needs to update the plan for future projects so they could receive state funds.
The proposal may be approved during their meeting on June 14th.
Non-union employees of the city will see their salaries increase in the near future. The pay hike ranges from a half percent to 2 percent.
The city also plans to update their floodplain ordinance to meet state regulations. This involves the area off of 10th Street in Oregon.
The council approved the seal coat bid of $98,640 as the work will be done this summer.
The first "Concert in the Park" will be held on June 7th. The city will sponsor the first concert at Park West in Oregon.
