Rochelle police arrested a local man yesterday morning after he was involving in 3 alcohol related accidents in the Hub City.
25-year old Michael Pendleton, formerly of Paw Paw, was arrested on the charge of DUI along with 2 counts of failure to give and leaving the scene of an accident. He also failed to notify the Illinois Secretary of State's office about an address change on his license.
The incident began a short time before 6AM as Pendelton was allegedly driving on North 3rd Street when his car struck a parked vehicle.
A short time later, he was traveling southbound on North Main Street at 6th Avenue when the car left the road and knocked down a city street sign and also hit a fire hydrant.
Pendelton continued south as he missed the entrance to 545 South Main Street. He then put the car in reverse and drove into the parking lot.
Pendleton's car then traveled over a parking barrier and struck 2 trees before coming to a stop in the lot.
He was arrested a short time later at 545 South Main Street.
Pendleton will appear in court on the charges at a later date.
