No one suffered any injuries early yesterday morning following a house fire in Dixon.
The blaze was noticed a short time before 4 at 804 North Ottawa Avenue.
Flames and smoke were coming from the 2-story home when firemen arrived on the scene.
No one was home when the fire began.
Several area departments responded to the scene.
There was extensive damage done to the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
