The City of Rochelle may be looking for a new RMU Director of Utilities Business and Energy Production in the near future.
Dan Westin resigned from the position late last week. He had been with RMU since November of 2012.
Westin was involved with a number of projects with the city which included the solar plant which is located near the water treatment facility.
In past resignations involving administrators, the city has either filled the position or had other city employees add duties to their job so that work will continue in the area in a cost savings move involving the budget.
