A Leaf River man was arrested last night following a stand-off with police in the village.
Reports indicate that at around 6 yesterday evening, Ogle County Sheriff's police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of East 2nd Street in Leaf River. 45-year old Ronnie Henson was inside the home and was holding a shotgun and appeared to be suicidal.
Police attempted to make contact with Henson, but had no success.
Sheriff's police along with the Illinois State Police surrounded the home as the Emergency Response Team finally made contact with Henson.
The Leaf River man was taken into custody without incident and no one suffered any injuries.
Henson has been arrested on the charge of disorderly conduct.
