The approval of the new fiscal year budget and an intergovernment agreement dealing with Fairways Golf Course tops the agenda tonight for Rochelle city officials.
The council meeting begins at 7 at City Hall.
Revenues in the General Fund total 10.1 million dollars while expenditures are just over 10 million dollars.
There is a deficit in the budget when you combine the General Fund along with Special Revenue, Enterprise, Internal Service, and Trust and Agency Funds. The expenses total 76.3 million dollars while the revenues come in at 74.7 million dollars.
The intergovernment agreement for Fairways Golf Course is between the city and Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District.
The city, with consent of the park district, has hired the golf course manager along with the other employees. The manager will report to Park District Executive Director Eric Christensen.
The council also expects to approve the yearly maintenance agreement with Phase II of the skid load project at a cost of just over $41,100.
