Gas prices are still inching their way down across Illinois. Triple-A's Daily Fuel Gauge Report shows the average price of a gallon of regular gas in Illinois is a dollar-59 to start the work week.
That's about nine-cents less than this time last week. The national average is at a buck-74 this morning.
In Rochelle, the price at the pump is $1.49 a gallon for unleaded fuel. That's 10 cents cheaper than the state average.
